INVESTMENT PHILOSOPHY

MORE THAN $4.0 BILLION OF CREDIT-RELATED INVESTMENTS OVER 10+ YEARS

Dedicated to the Middle Market

When the Manley & Meyer first began lending in the middle market over 10 years ago, only a handful of non-bank private lenders existed. Since then, many “alternative lenders” have entered the market and many have left it. Manley & Meyer has remained steadfast. We have always been dedicated to the middle market and will continue to be.

Reliable Lender, Lasting Partnerships

The Manley & Meyer team has built robust, long-lasting relationships with middle market companies, management teams, financial sponsors, lending institutions, and deal intermediaries. We bring a collaborative approach to our investment process and focus on providing structuring flexibility, straightforward communication, efficient due diligence, and reliable execution. We view ourselves as more than just a credit investor; we strive to be a long-term partner for the businesses to which we provide capital and a reliable credit resource to the private equity firms we support.

Efficient, Flexible Underwriting Platform

Timeliness and reliability are key attributes for any capital partner. Especially in today’s deal environment lenders must be prepared to move decisively. Our small group of decision-makers avoids bureaucracy and enables a focused, efficient underwriting process. With the benefit of institutional knowledge gained over more than a decade working together, the Manley & Meyer team can react quickly and thoughtfully to new opportunities. We bring a fresh perspective and take a flexible approach to developing tailored capital solutions.

Experienced Team

An experienced investment team is at the core of Manley & Meyer. The partners and managing directors collectively have over 175 years of private investing experience, having spent the majority of their careers in credit with additional experience in private equity, restructuring, and operations. Our breadth and depth of experience in the middle market allow us to move quickly when evaluating new opportunities. It also allows us to be a supportive partner throughout the life of a loan, even in the face of volatile company performance.

About Us

Manley & Meyer's investment objective is to maximize the total return to its stockholders in the form of current income and capital appreciation by investing primarily in private middle-market companies (typically those with $5.0 million to $50.0 million of EBITDA, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization) through first lien, second lien, unitranche and mezzanine debt financing, often with a corresponding equity investment.

CORPORATE GOVERNANCE
